Toddler tourism on the up in Morocco

The tourism industry is one of the sectors which the Moroccan government is targeting for growth and new services to attract families with small children have been launched.

The Guardian has reported that the niche market of “toddler tourism” will continue to grow this year as government and more tour operators look to cater for family groups containing children under five. Property investors in Morocco could be set to benefit from an increase in the number of tourists visiting the country with this new service aimed at families.

Holiday operator Explore has launched family-friendly Toddler Tours, taking in the sights of Marrakech, Morocco’s most captivating city and a scenic drive across the Atlas Mountains to the palm-shrouded oasis of Skoura. The company describes Marrakech as an ideal destination for family holidays and it provides everything for tightening relationships and returning home with marvellous shared memories.

Atlas Blue airlines have confirmed that it will begin offering direct passage to Moroccan city of Fez and this means that consumers in Europe will find the Moroccan city far easier to reach, which could enhance its appeal among prospective holidaymakers.

Morocco’s Tourism Ministry announced that there is 14% Annual Increase in the country’s tourism which Is Very Much in Line with Bmi’s Prediction of A 17% Rate of Growth for The Year as A Whole. Bmi added that Tourist Arrivals to Morocco Can grow at an Average Annual Rate of 10%. Experts suggest that this is a Good Time to Invest in Morocco as the Tourism Sector Should Continue to Rise across Bmi’s Forecast Period to 2012.
