Morocco- one size fits all holiday destination

Leisure travelers from the UK are booking trips to exotic destinations overseas because they believe it will perk up their public image, new figures have revealed.

A recent study by Cater Allen Private Bank has revealed that 63 per cent of Brits want to visit a long-haul destination. 46 per cent think the place they visit reflects on them as a person. The survey identified a number of reasons for this, such as the desire to explore somewhere off the beaten track and to have an adventurous element in their holidays.

Morocco offers the right mix of the exotic appeal that travelers looking for something ‘different’ and there are many factors blend to create Morocco as a perfect holiday destination. The allure of celebrities gives Morocco more appeal as the latest celebrity ‘hot spot’ with Jude Law, George Clooney, Beckham and Brad Pitt all has holidayed there.

Commenting on the result, Sally Ann Watts of Cater Allen commented that Contrary to popular belief, it reveals Brits are becoming aspirational in their holiday choices.

According to Directholidaybookings.co.uk, the value of the pound against the euro is directly influencing people’s travel habits. This has led to many tourists seeking alternative options beyond the continent, such as Egypt and Morocco as they are said to offer far more favourable exchange rates.

This comes after the recent figures by Halifax as it revealed that nearly 2.5 million British people take package holidays to exotic destinations every year.
