Moroccan port of Essaouira is ideal for a warm getaway
Morocco, with its mix of idyllic beaches, rugged mountains and wide open deserts has become increasingly popular as a tourist destination in recent years. Being one of Morocco’s main fortified coastal towns, Essaouira boasts a strong feeling of its past. Starting with the Phoenicians, it has been a trading post for almost 3000 years.
