Madrid-Tangiers flights excite moroccan tourism
The introduction of low cost flights from Madrid to Tangiers has accelerated the tourism industry of Morocco. The sudden increase in the influx of tourists to Morocco from European countries vouches this.
The incursion of the tourists has already rejuvenated the Moroccan property entrepreneurs. Property owners in Morocco are seeing an imminent surge in demand for rental housing, hotel accommodation and luxury apartments.
The new flights will cater the needs of high potential tourists from Spain and Central Europe. Each flight to Tangiers enhances the interest of the overseas property buyers. The flights are maneuvered generally by easyJet from different European cities. These include the services to Marrakech from Gatwick and Paris. This is the first time in the history of Morocco to have direct flights to Tangiers from the European continent.
Almost all financial markets in the world were gripped in fear anticipating a downturn in investments in the first month of 2008. But kicking back such fears the equity markets along with money markets exhibited a good show till the last leg of the month. This resulted in a renewed exhilaration in the global investments and new avenues of aviation.
Because of the new venture of flight operators connecting Madrid to Tangiers, the overseas investors started flooding into the Moroccan property development sector with expectations beyond limits.
