Golf tourism boosts Moroccan holiday industry
Golf tourism is one of the fastest growing parts of the Moroccan holiday industry and this sector is leading to the creation of new wealth-generating developments. KPMG published the third annual Golf Benchmark Survey that revealed that Golf has developed and grown in North Africa in the past 10 years. Morocco leads with the way with 18 courses and more than half of the region’s 9,000 golfers, Egypt with 14,Tunisia (10 courses) and Algeria (1 course).
