British taking 3-day holiday favor Morocco
According to a recent study, 73 % of the British spend their holidays abroad and that comes to nearly 36 million people. Two thirds of those who holiday abroad, or plan to do so, typically take their holidays in the summer; one in ten go on for a holiday in winter and one in four does both. The British are planning to make 1-3 trips abroad annually. Another similar research by Holiday Inn revealed that nearly 48 per cent of people plan to go on a customary two-week break with their children this year. Many families in the UK are planning to take short holidays for just three or four days.
Holiday inn reported that parents are not getting enough time off work and difficulty getting the same dates as their partner and also they are more and more choosing to use their holiday stipend throughout the year and take about three or four short breaks all the way through the year.
The main deciding factors for British tourists in choosing a destination is good value for money, the opportunity to chill out, climate, accommodation, food, culture, accessibility and hospitality. Experts have said that Morocco ticks on all these boxes. John Bevan, managing director of Lastminute.com, stated that tourists from the UK recently are increasingly choosing to visit Morocco.
Morocco is considered a sound investment option by investors who are planning to purchase a rental property overseas. Morocco’s attractiveness as a holiday destination is expected to be reflected in rental yields and possible growth in its housing market.
